Stainless Steel Conduit / Electrical Conduit

James Alloys offer a range of light and heavy gauge stainless steel conduits with either ISO metric or NPT threaded ends.

We offer our stainless steel conduits from our bespoke manufacturing mill in production quantities to end user clients or projects delivered to any part of the world at highly competitive rates.

In addition to the stainless steel conduit range we can offer a full range of associated fittings and cable management systems with production orders.

Light Gauge ISO Metric Threaded Stainless Conduit

Sizes offered

• 20mm O/D x 1.5mm wall x 3000mm long
• 25mm O/D x 1.5mm wall x 3000mm long
• 32mm O/D x 1.5mm wall x 3000mm long
• 50mm O/D x 2.0mm wall x 3000mm long

Grades offered

1.4301 / 1.4404 / 1.4372

Lengths Offered

We generally produce these in 3 meter lengths, but on production any length can be specification.

Tolerances

• Outside diameter + 0 / -0.3mm
• Wall thickness is to be + / - 0.1mm
• The lengths are to be + / -3mm

Material finish

320 Satin polished

Physical Properties

• The O/D is polished to a 320 Grit.
• The O/D is checked with ring gauges prior to despatch
• The ends are fully de-burred, internal and external
• There is no 'bend' in the tube
• Mill test certificates are offered with goods
• The tube dimensions comply with ASTM A269
• The tube is to be seam welded 0.1 max bead.
• The tube is softened and annealed (after welding)

Threads

All ends are threaded to BS 4568 : Part 1 : 1970 based on a 8g- free fit. To give and ISO form 1.5 pitch.

Thread lengths

• 20mm – 14mm +/- 1mm
• 25mm – 17mm +/- 1mm
• 32mm – 19mm +/- 1mm
• 50mm – 23mm +/- 1mm

The threaded ends are fitted with protective caps to avoid any oil contamination or dust from the polishing process.

Packaging Specification

Bundle sizes:

• 20mm – 200 maximum
• 25mm – 100 maximum
• 32mm – 50 maximum

The bundles are secured using copious amounts of nylon twine and are packed to avoid any health and safety risk when stacked on top of each other. If items are to be shipped by sea the bundles are secured as above then packed in wooden crates suitable for sea freight.

The threaded ends are fitted with protective caps. Free from dust and polishing compounds.

Packaging

Each tube wrapped in separate poly sleeve translucent (clear) and further packed in strong sea worthy wooden boxes. Each box not weighing more than 1 M.T.
