Nickel Alloys and Special Metals Processing Services 
Water Jet cutting
James Alloys offer water jet cutting on an extensive range of 60 Nickel Alloy grades, together with the complete range of Copper Nickel and Titanium alloys.
James Alloys can cut from 0.4mm up to 50mm thick Alloy materials from stock, offering competitive prices with short production lead times.
De- coiling
James Alloys offer an in-house de-coiling service for thin gauge Titanium Sheet up to 1.6mm thick.
With this service we can offer a fixed length de-coiling service from stock, reducing our clients scrap, and increasing their profitability.
Band sawing to length
James Alloys offer a cutting service for Bars, Tubes, and Pipes to meet client requirements, with the capability to cut these products to length up to 450mm Diameter on our Automated Band Saws.
James Alloys can offer this service from stock on short lead times, at competitive rates, reducing customer wastage, by offering pieces sufficient to cover customer production.
Shearing to length
For clients who require Nickel Alloys and other Special Metals cut to size, James Alloys can provide an on-sight guillotine service cutting Sheet and Plate up to 8mm Thick in widths up to 3 metres.
James Alloys offer this service again from their extensive stock of sheet and plate, offering very competitive rates, with minimum production times.
Welding and Fabrication
This service can be provided by James Alloys and all work is carried out by Fully Skilled Operatives, who are fully versed in the techniques and procedures required to work with Special metals and Nickel Alloys.
Machining
Nickel Alloys cannot be simply machined as you would with normal grades of materials.
Consideration must be given to Special Cutters, Feed Speeds, and Cutting Fluids. This is essential to complete work on these High Performance Alloys without causing a detrimental effect on the material.
