JSW steel reports 19% growth in crude steel

JSW Steel Ltd of JSW group, an arm of O P Jindal group has posted 19 per cent growth in crude steel production at 3.47 lakh tonnes in May 2008 as compared to the corresponding period last year.

The company has also shown 22 per cent sequential growth in the volume of crude steel production.

JSW group operates in areas like aluminium, mining, carbon steel, power, industrial gases, and port facilities. It is an over Rs 13,000 crore company incorporated in 1994.
